A dinner date is the simplest way to meet: a good table, a good bottle and someone who enjoys the evening as much as you do. Our companions know the rooms of the cities they live in — the hotel restaurants, the quiet corners, the places worth booking weeks ahead — and arrive ready for whatever the evening becomes.

A dinner companion for the evening
Dinner is the most natural way to meet. A good table, a bottle worth opening, and company that makes the evening worth remembering — nothing more is needed, and nothing is rushed. A dinner companion arrives dressed for the room you have chosen, is relaxed with the menu and the wine list, and is curious about the person across the table. Whether the evening ends after dessert or continues elsewhere is agreed in advance, so that both of you can simply enjoy it.

You may already have a reservation. If not, our city guides list the restaurants we would choose ourselves:
- London — the hotel dining rooms of Mayfair and the private rooms of Knightsbridge.
- Paris — palace hotel restaurants and the bistros of Saint-Germain.

Dinner dates on a business trip
Many dinner introductions happen on business trips: a free evening after a day of meetings, in a city where you know nobody. In our main cities a dinner can usually be arranged with a day or two of notice; for weekends and event weeks, ask earlier. Tell us the city, the date, the time and the restaurant if you have one, and we will reply with the companions who are free that evening.
A first introduction
A dinner is also the best first introduction before a longer arrangement — a weekend, a trip, or an event together. Many guests start with an evening and, if the company suits, plan the next meeting with the same companion. That is always welcome, and is arranged the same way.
Questions
