4–6 June 2027
Monaco Grand Prix 2027
The most glamorous weekend of the Formula 1 calendar: the harbour full of yachts, the terraces of Monte-Carlo and the parties that follow.
The Monaco Grand Prix runs through the streets of Monte-Carlo, past the Casino, through the tunnel and around Port Hercule. In 2027 it moves to the first weekend of June and, for the first time, includes a sprint race, so Friday matters as much as Sunday.
Monaco is small and the weekend sells out early. Hotels on the Place du Casino and the Port are typically booked a year ahead; many guests stay in Beaulieu, Cap-d’Ail or on a yacht in the harbour. Terraces and yacht hospitality along the Port give the best view of the start and of the swimming-pool section.
Evenings belong to the Casino square, the Hôtel de Paris, Jimmy’z and the yacht parties. A companion who knows the Riviera makes the weekend easier: which terrace for the qualifying session, which dinner on Saturday, where to go after the podium.
