Formula 1: Summer Showdowns at Silverstone and Spa
This July, Formula 1 gears up for two iconic races. The British Grand Prix takes place from July 4–6 at Silverstone, followed by the Belgian Grand Prix from July 25–27 at Spa-Francorchamps.
In Silverstone, all eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton, racing at home for the first time in Ferrari colors. Alongside him, British drivers Lando Norris and George Russell aim to impress the home crowd. Norris, fresh off a victory in Austria, is expected to battle teammate Oscar Piastri in a closely watched McLaren duel. The weekend includes practice, qualifying, the Grand Prix race, and special celebrations for F1’s 75th anniversary.
Later in the month, Spa-Francorchamps will host the Belgian GP — one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar. With its sharp elevation changes and unpredictable weather, Spa often delivers dramatic racing. The weekend will feature practice, sprint sessions, qualifying, and a 44-lap main race.
Both events promise thrilling action in the race for the 2025 championship.
