Hong Kong's Michelin-Starred & Fine Dining Restaurants

Hong Kong's Michelin guide, published continuously since 2008, has grown into one of the densest concentrations of top-rated restaurants anywhere in the world. The 2026 edition alone recognised seven three-star restaurants across the city and Macau — a scale that puts Hong Kong on genuinely equal footing with Paris or Tokyo.

8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana

Chef Umberto Bombana's Italian restaurant has held three Michelin stars for years, built around white truffle season and an Italian wine list considered one of the finest outside Italy itself. It remains one of the two or three tables in the city that visitors plan an entire trip's dining schedule around.

Caprice

Inside Four Seasons Hong Kong, already covered in our hotels guide, Caprice holds three Michelin stars for French cuisine paired with harbour views across to Kowloon — one half of the hotel's remarkable eight-star total across its dining rooms.

Lung King Heen

Also at Four Seasons Hong Kong, Lung King Heen made history in 2009 as the first Chinese restaurant anywhere in the world to be awarded three Michelin stars. It currently holds two stars, its dim sum and Cantonese classics still considered a benchmark against which the rest of the city's Cantonese fine dining is measured.

Tin Lung Heen

Set inside The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, detailed in our hotels guide, Tin Lung Heen pairs two-Michelin-starred Cantonese cuisine with the same extraordinary altitude as the hotel around it — a dining room roughly 100 floors above the streets of Kowloon.

Bo Innovation

Chef Alvin Leung's Bo Innovation built its two-Michelin-starred reputation on what Leung calls «X-treme Chinese cuisine» — classic Cantonese and Chinese dishes deconstructed and reassembled through a distinctly avant-garde, occasionally irreverent lens rarely applied to Chinese cooking at this level.

Booking a Table

Hong Kong's three-star restaurants typically require reservations two to four weeks ahead, with truffle season at 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana and peak tourist months requiring even longer lead times.
