Manhattan
On the second floor of Regent Singapore, Manhattan opened in April 2014 with a concept tracing American cocktail history from the 1920s Industrial Revolution through the 1960s, styled with Art Deco film-noir touches, Chesterfield sofas, and Italian marble tables. It topped Asia's 50 Best Bars in both 2017 and 2018 and reached third place on the World's 50 Best Bars list in 2018, a run that put Singapore's bar scene on the global map.
Atlas Bar
Set inside the Art Deco Parkview Square building on North Bridge Road, Atlas Bar built its reputation on a genuinely encyclopedic gin collection displayed across a soaring, jewel-box interior styled after the Jazz Age, pairing roaring-twenties glamour with a food and cocktail menu built to match.
CÉ LA VI
Occupying part of the SkyPark atop Marina Bay Sands, detailed in our hotels guide, CÉ LA VI combines a restaurant, sky bar, and club lounge some 200 metres above the bay, its terrace views over the Marina Bay skyline making it one of the most photographed nightlife venues anywhere in Asia.
Zouk
Opened in 1991 on Jiak Kim Street in a converted warehouse, Zouk grew into one of the most recognised superclub names in Asia before relocating to a purpose-built venue in Clarke Quay in 2016, close to the riverside district covered in our areas guide. The move brought a larger main room and a dedicated house and techno space, Zouk having built its name on exactly that programming since the early 1990s.
Planning a Night Out
Manhattan and Atlas Bar both reward booking ahead for weekend evenings, particularly for seats at the bar itself rather than standing room. CÉ LA VI's sunset hour is its busiest single window; arriving before dusk secures a terrace table before the after-work crowd. Zouk's headline nights are typically Friday and Saturday, with door policy tightening considerably after midnight.
